Hostess
Committee
The Hostess Committee is a great
way to get involved with the East Bay Women in Business group
and make lasting connections with other businesswomen. As a
hostess at the breakfast meetings you welcome participants and
facilitate networking at your table. You also get your name

Outreach
Committee
The Outreach Committee introduces EBWIBR
to an increasingly larger circle of professional and entrepreneurial
women. In particular, committee members promote EBWIBR to corporations
and larger businesses in the Oakland area. Outreach is also
responsible for the Non- Profit Spotlight where EBWIBR partners
with nonprofit organizations to mutually promote each organization.

Program
Committee
The Program Committee’s goal
is to educate and empower women of the East Bay. Its members
research and evaluate all potential speakers and do the follow-up
– from delivering the pre-speaker forms and publicity
to meeting with the speakers ahead of time, and thanking them
following their address.

Publicity
Committee
The Publicity Committee manages
public relations efforts, produces the Oakland Business Review
pages and creates EBWIBR collateral. Some of the goals this
committee are:
• Highlight non-profit organizations that provide resources
to women in the community
• Raise public awareness of EBWIBR through technology
and publicity
• Provide technological enhancements to the website
• Establish graphic identity both in print and on the
website
